This model has is a twin seater and it includes two pilot figures as well as 4 missiles (of 2 different types). It also includes a detailed landing gear as well as the cover of the wheel wells to give the appearance of in-flight.

The wing tip missiles come already glued to the wing tips. 

The parts that need to be attached/assembled onto the model like the landing gear, wheel well covers and missiles for the wings and fuselage are snap fit (friction fit) and do not required glue, however, one needs to be very careful are pieces are very fragile and could break.

The cockpit canopy can open and close and like the assembly pieces, one needs to be very careful when moving it as it is very fragile and could easily break.

This is a limited edition model with a total of 700 pieces. A card similar to a credit card is included in which it has the serial number for the model.

This is really a "no-play" model or a "display-only" model. It is mostly metal and very heavy. It also has a number of antennas which look great but are very fragile. If you have small kids that like to play with your models, save yourself some frustration (and money) and wait till later to get a model like this one. The box is labeled as not suitable for children under 14.

Designed as a high performance fighter with a fly-by-wire control system, and the ability to carry up to 10 AAMs, the highly maneuverable Su-27 is one of the most imposing fighters ever built. The first 'Flanker-A' prototypes flew on May 20, 1977 and entered service as the 'Flanker-B' in 1984. The development of the Su-27 fighter plane was completed in the early 1980s, and the plane subsequently set more than 40 world records of altitude and take-off-speed. It was the forerunner of an entire family of planes, including the Su-27UB training plane, the Su-33 ship-based fighter, the Su-37 multi-mission plane and the Su-32FN two-seat specialized plane. The Su-27UB is a two seat training version of Su-27, which first flew in March 1985.
