1:72 Scale Metal Diecast - Dassault Mirage 2000 French Multi-role Aircraft - Length: 8" Wingspan: 5”
The canopy can be positioned in the opened or closed. One has to be very careful as to not damage/break the canopy. The landing gear is optional, one can attach the landing gear or cover the wheel wells.
Some assembly is required to place the landing gear and/or wheel well covers in place, as well as the weapons on the wings and fuselage. This is quite simple, but one needs to be very careful and patient.
This is really a "no-play" model or a "display-only" model. It is mostly metal and very heavy. It also has a number of antennas which look great but are very fragile. The box is labeled as not suitable for children under 14.
The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French multirole, single-engine, fourth-generation jet fighter manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It was designed in the late 1970s as a lightweight fighter to replace the Mirage III for the French Air Force (Armée de l'air). The Mirage 2000 evolved into a multirole aircraft with several variants developed, with sales to a number of nations. It was later developed into the Mirage 2000N and 2000D strike variants, the improved Mirage 2000-5, and several export variants. Over 600 aircraft were built and it has been in service with nine nations.
