1:200 Scale Plastic Snap-Fit – Airbus A350-900 – Length:13" Wingspan: 12.75"
This Sky Marks A350-900 has great details, from the wing panels to the color and markings on the fuselage and engines. All is where it is supposed to be.
This model version has no landing gear but it comes with a display stand.
All in all the Sky Marks line of models is very high quality, the materials and details are very impressive.
Things to notice in this line:
- Accurate (more or less) shaped fan blades inside the engines
- The fan blades inside the engines CAN ROTATE (if you blow onto the turbines/engines, the fan blades will turn)
The packaging is also very good. All the parts have their own space in several plastic shells that are stacked on top or inside one another and are fitted into the box.
Keep in mind that these are not really toys, they are models and be displayed. They are very fragile and will not last long of taken of a spin.
The Airbus A350 XWB is a family of long-range, twin-engine wide-body jet airliners developed by European aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The A350 is the first Airbus with both fuselage and wing structures made primarily of carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer.[9] Its variants seat 280 to 366 passengers in typical three-class seating layouts.[10] The A350 is positioned to succeed the A330 and A340, and compete withBoeing's 787 and 777.
The A350 was originally conceived in 2004, pairing the A330's fuselage with new aerodynamics features and engines. In 2006, Airbus redesigned the aircraft in response to criticism from several major prospective customers and renamed it the A350 XWB (extra wide body). Development costs are estimated at €11 billion (US$15 billion or £9.5 billion).[11] As of February 2016, Airbus had received 777 orders for A350s from 43 customers worldwide.[5] The prototype A350 first flew on 14 June 2013 from Toulouse, France. Type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency was received in September 2014 and certification from the Federal Aviation Administration two months later. On 15 January 2015, the A350 entered service with Qatar Airways, the type's launch customer.
