1:72 Scale Diecast Metal – Fieseler Fi-156 Stork – Length: 5.25" Wingspan: 7.75”
This Stork model has a landing gear that is fixed in the extended position and the box includes a stand where the model can be attached for display.
The maker of the model, Falcon Models, really did a good job with the model. The fuselage like solid metal.
This is really a "no-play" model or a "display-only" model. It is mostly metal and very heavy. It also has a number of antennas which look great but are very fragile. If you have small kids that like to play with your models, save yourself some frustration (and money) and wait till later to get a model like this one. The box is labeled as not suitable for children under 14.
This is really not a toy, this will not survive a child playing with it in the sand box or even at home. These models are made mainly to look like the real thing and not to last long on the hands of a child.
The box measures 8 inches by 8 inches by 3 inches.
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch (English: Stork) was a small German liaison aircraft built by Fieselerbefore and during World War II. Production continued in other countries into the 1950s for the private market. It remains famous to this day for its excellent STOL performance; French-built later variants often appear at air shows.
