The McDonnell Douglas (now BoeingF-15E Strike Eagle is an American all-weathermultirole strike fighter,[4] derived from the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. The F-15E was designed in the 1980s for long-range, high speed interdiction without relying on escort or electronic warfare aircraft. United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E Strike Eagles can be distinguished from other U.S. Eagle variants by darker camouflage and conformal fuel tanksmounted along the engine intakes.

The Strike Eagle has been deployed for military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. During these operations the F-15E has carried out deep strikes against high-value targets,combat air patrols, and providing close air support for coalition troops. It has also seen action in later conflicts and has been exported to several countries.


This model has is a twin seat and includes two pilot figures. This model comes loaded to the max. It includes 8 missiles (of 2 different types), 6 little bombs, one medium bomb, two external fuel tanks and two electronic/targeting pods. It also includes a detailed landing gear as well as the cover of the wheel wells to give the appearance of in-flight. There is no stand included.


This is a limited edition model with a total of 720 pieces. A card similar to a trading card is included in which it has the serial number for the model.


This is really a "no-play" model or a "display-only" model. It is mostly metal and very heavy. It also has a number of antennas which look great but are very fragile. If you have small kids that like to play with your models, save yourself some frustration (and money) and wait till later to get a model like this one. The box is labeled as not suitable for children under 14.

The box measures 10 inches by 10 inches by 3.5 inches.
