CAT 797F Dump Truck 1/101 Scale Diecast Metal Model by Toy State
The Caterpillar 797F Dump Truck at 1/101 scale measures 5.75" long from the end of the body to the front of the truck. At the widest part of the dump body (bed/bucket) measures 3.5" wide. From the ground to the top of the bed it measures 3" high. The wheels are are made of rubber and can roll smoothly, so be sure to take care of where you place this (don't let it roll off a table). The bed is movable but it won't remain in the "up" position by itself (since the bed is entirely made of metal, it is quite heavy)
Construction is made of diecast metal and plastic parts. The bed is entirely made of metal and the main body seems to be a mix of metal and plastic parts.
This is definitely not a toy. It is quite heavy (about a pound) and is fairly big, so it could (as the real thing) do some serious damaged if used irresponsibly. Although sturdy and heavy for a model, it is fragile when compared to a toy. The stairs, rails, cabs and other details are tiny and fragile, so this won't last long if taken to sand box or to the back yard for a spin.
The model comes in a window box and it measures 7.5" x 5" x 5"
